Who we are

Impact Joinery is a joinery, carpentry and kitchen installation business run by Mark Marchbank from 29 Tinto Drive, Cumbernauld, Glasgow. What information we collect

When you contact us or complete the quote form on this website we may collect:

• Your phone number and email address
• Your town, postcode or property address
• Details of the work you are asking us to quote for
• Any photographs or plans you choose to send us

We do not ask for payment card details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a site visit
• To prepare and send your quotation
• To carry out the work and keep you updated while it is in progress
• To handle any guarantee or aftercare matter that arises later
• To keep records required for accounting, insurance and tax purposes

Our lawful bases for this are your consent (when you submit an enquiry), the performance of a contract (once you accept a quotation), our legitimate interest in running the business, and our legal obligations for record keeping.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to marketing lists. We may share the minimum necessary details with:

• Qualified tradespeople we bring in for your job, for example plumbers or electricians, so they can attend site
• Suppliers where an order has to be delivered to your address
• Our accountant and insurers where required
• Website, email and enquiry-handling providers who process data on our behalf
• Authorities where we are legally required to disclose information

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they may reasonably still be live, then deleted. Records relating to completed jobs are kept for the duration of the 12-month workmanship guarantee and afterwards for as long as required for tax, accounting and insurance purposes.

Cookies and website analytics

This website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly and to understand how visitors use the pages. Embedded content such as the Google Map on our contact page is provided by a third party and may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
